Amazon‑owned logistics firm QuickShip announced it has begun an internal investigation following a complaint filed by a warehouse worker with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). The employee alleged unsafe operating conditions, including inadequate machine guarding and insufficient personal protective equipment, during routine packaging duties at the company’s distribution center in Springfield, Illinois. QuickShip’s spokesperson said the company “takes all OSHA complaints seriously and will cooperate fully with the agency’s review.”

The investigation will assess whether the alleged violations constitute a breach of federal safety standards and whether corrective actions are needed.
