Zach Braff invites questions on directing career and filmography

Zach Braff, widely recognized for his role as JD in Scrubs, is inviting fans to submit their questions following his transition into a successful career as a writer and director. His directorial debut, the 2004 indie film Garden State, which he also wrote and starred in, was produced for $2.5m and generated over $35m in worldwide box office revenue. The film received more than three dozen award nominations and earned Braff a Grammy for compiling its soundtrack, which featured artists including The Shins, Coldplay, and Nick Drake.

Beyond his work behind the camera, Braff has appeared in various films, including the 2000 gay ensemble comedy-drama The Broken Hearts Club alongside Timothy Olyphant and the 2006 romantic drama The Last Kiss opposite Jacinda Barrett. He also starred in the 2006 workplace romcom The Ex with Jason Bateman and the 2016 John Steinbeck adaptation In Dubious Battle, which was directed by James Franco.
