Yemen conflict displaces 71,000 children and raises malnutrition, UNICEF says

Fighting in Yemen has displaced 71,000 children and intensified malnutrition, UNICEF reported. The agency highlighted the growing humanitarian impact on the nation’s youngest residents as hostilities continue.

In recent weeks UNICEF screened nearly 2,900 children, finding that more than a quarter of those screened were acutely malnourished, underscoring the scale of displacement and acute malnutrition among children in Yemen.
