Woman who accused Jay-Z of 2000 rape says she never met him

An unnamed woman who previously accused Jay-Z of raping her when she was 13 years old has formally withdrawn her allegation, stating that she has never met the rap superstar. This statement contradicts her initial claims made in a lawsuit filed in 2024, in which she alleged that Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, had drugged and raped her alongside Sean Combs, known as P Diddy. The lawsuit alleged that the incident occurred at a party following an MTV awards ceremony in 2000.

The woman has now dropped the lawsuit and confirmed that her original accusations were false. The retraction clarifies that no such meeting or assault took place, resolving the legal dispute initiated in 2024 regarding the alleged 2000 event.
