West Ham to Appoint Scott Parker After Sacking Nuno Espírito Santo
Guardian Sport1 min read102 words
West Ham are poised to appoint Scott Parker as their manager following the dismissal of Nuno Espírito Santo. Parker, who has been out of work since leaving Burnley last season, is expected to be in place before the club visits Cardiff City on Wednesday.
The sacking comes after West Ham’s 3-1 defeat to West Bromwich Albion last Saturday, which left the side eighth in the Championship. Although the club had retained Nuno, who took over from Graham Potter in September 2025, after their previous Premier League relegation, patience has run out as they aim for an immediate return to the top flight.
