Warwickshire lead County Championship heading into final round

Warwickshire enter the final round of the County Championship 11 points ahead of their nearest rivals, with bowler Olly Hannon‑Dalby expressing confidence that the side can secure the title. The 6ft 7in medium‑fast bowler has just finished training at Edgbaston and noted the team’s continued momentum as the competition heads toward its climax.

Hannon‑Dalby attributes the team’s success to the depth of its bowling attack. “Our bowling has massive depth,” he says. “Ethan Bamber has had an outstanding year with 60 wickets, and then Chris Woakes has been around the majority of the season. To be able to throw an English legend the ball every now and then is unbelievable – and his demeanour when he plays, how he carries himself is amazing. In fact our depth in general is great, everyone has played and contributed.”

Warwickshire remain 11 points clear before the last round of the County Championship.
