Meta Lawyers Seek to Withhold Evidence in Teen Safety Lawsuits

Meta’s legal team has contended that certain evidence in the lawsuits alleging harm to teens’ safety and mental health should be withheld on the basis of attorney‑client privilege. The claim, made during the current litigation, seeks to keep portions of the case record from public view.

Plaintiffs, however, argue that the privilege has been applied too broadly.
