Google Launches AI Satellite to Test TPUs in Space

Google is preparing to launch a satellite equipped with its AI processors next week, scheduled for an October 1st launch aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket. The mission is part of Google’s Project Suncatcher, an experimental initiative that could eventually place AI data centers into orbit.
