Florida Rep. Salazar Calls Venezuelan Interim President a Necessary Evil

Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar (R‑Fla.) described Venezuelan interim president Delcy Rodríguez as a “necessary evil” in a Sunday interview with CBS News. Salazar said Rodríguez should be tolerated until the country can hold free and fair elections, adding that the U.S. must keep diplomatic channels open while the political crisis continues.
