Arctic exercise in Norway tests countermeasures against satellite jamming

Defence and technology firms have joined the Norwegian Armed Forces for the country's annual military exercises, marking a continued effort to integrate private‑sector capabilities with national security operations. The drills, conducted across Norway’s varied terrain, involve live‑fire training, communications testing and cyber‑defence scenarios, with participating companies providing equipment, software and expertise to simulate realistic operational conditions.

Officials said the collaboration aims to enhance interoperability between the military and industry, improve readiness for emerging threats and support the development of advanced defence solutions.
