Affinity creative studio now free on iPad

Canva has launched a free iPad version of Affinity’s creative studio. The new Affinity for iPad delivers the same pro‑grade tools that were offered in the desktop suite, covering vector graphics, photo editing, illustration and page layout, and it is optimized for Apple Pencil and touchscreens.

The iPad app also introduces a Sketch Studio feature aimed at freehand drawing and streamlining sketch‑to‑vector workflows, with tools for masking and automatically converting rough sketches into vector elements. The release follows Canva’s relaunch of the Affinity suite as an all‑in‑one desktop application last year.
